Finally, hello weekend! This past week was a doozy and I ended it with a glass of Carlo Rossi Moscato Sangria in bed watching The Turning, like my brain needed another twister...that ending, what?!

Q and I will be spending today and tomorrow pretty relaxed with some baking (I bought flour for the first time in my 28 years), planting strawberries, celebrating the wonderful women we love, and asking a sweet neighbor down the street if we can clip some of those gorgeous wild hydrangeas that ar...

A series named and dated because we are making this a thing.

It's the end of the week and I hope you have had a good one. We certainly have even though Monday I found myself in a weird mood, surely from how out of ordinary life is right now. But I didn't let myself dwell, I forced myself to get up and went outside to find the most beautiful roses in the backyard. Eupora Depot today, 2019

Today marks the one year anniversary of that leap finally taken. And I am so glad that I just did it! Circa 1889 has grown into something that I a...

Downtown, my destination when visiting somewhere new. I love the old houses, Main Streets, and Town Squares - but you expected that of me already, didn't you? Well let me tell you why and what exactly I am looking for when I'm downtown.
